My neck's feeling better. I haven't put hot water on it yet, but there's definite improvement.

Jul. 31st, 2004 09:28 pmMy neck's been off and on today. I think what irritated it about the icy hot was cold, 'cause I put some ice on it yesterday and it twinged. So today I've spent every other hour on the couch reading Shogun with a hot water bottle on my neck.
It'd be nice if I could get the new Saria Emoti-chan I made to change to Jpeg properly >_<
I've been watching Mononoke again, but I came up to cook some ramen. Why is it that halfway through Mononoke I get hungry for ramen???

Jul. 29th, 2004 11:54 pmDad and I went to a water park today. That was a lot of fun! They had a really nice pool that had enough open space that I wasn't swimming in circles (well, I was, but bigger circles), and they had two water slides! The white one was great! It had curves and drops and a nice open top so you could see when the end was coming and could hold your breath and prepare to go heels-over-head into the water without bumping your head. But the blue one....NEVER AGAIN!!!! It was way to fast, and it was closed-topped so I couldn't see what was coming, so I panicked and landed wrong and hurt my neck.
When Mom came home today, she put Icy Hot on it, which I figured would help, but for some reason my neck seems to be more sensitive right now. IT BUUUUUUUUURNS!!!!!!!!! T______T
And it doesn't help that both of my plans for the weekend have gone down the drain. I found out that Otakon is this weekend, but I'm dead broke, as usual, so I decided to invite Corey over so I'd have fun cool exciting stuff to do to get my mind off of Otakon. But she has promissed to go see Sweeney Todd with her friend that weekend. Waaaaah! Now what am I gonna doooooo?!?!?!?! T___________________T
Granted, we are gonna see Sweeney Todd eventually, but it's not gonna be the weekend fling that I want to make up for Otakon.

Dec. 15th, 2003 03:40 pmMy mom never gave me my immunization shots when I was a baby, so today was one of my appointments to get them done. Five shots! And one of them was a tetanus shot. It huuuuurts.....
Well, next month should be my last appointment. That'll be good.
Ow....why did she have to give the tetanus on my writing arm?
The bright side? I missed third period and didn't have to deal with Erika!

Well, today was a meeting on how to audition for The Twelfth Night. The monologue I wanted to do was too emotion-heavy, so I chose a cute one from Much Ado About Nothing instead.
And I was wrong about Bobby Libby graduating! This is his Senior year! This is spiffy! Now I have two choices on who should play Joseph! (if we do it, of course) He showed us, as he put it, "what not to do in an audition." He had only learned his monologue last night so it was still rough around the edges. Tee hee....poor Bobby.
Well, the auditions are next Tuesday, so....*attempts to break a leg*

Aug. 27th, 2003 08:59 pmThe thunderstorms of last night caused a blackout at school, so we had a two hour delay. Unfortunately, I didn't get the notice about it, so I was stuck bored out of my skull waiting for school to start. Then afterwards, I got so much homework I couldn't believe it was only the second day. *sigh* At least it was small, the individual things I got. It's all done by now, of course.
If things keep up like this, it's gonna be a looooooooong Sophomore year.
My backpack weighs a ton from all the books >_< I feel like my shoulder is going to pop right out of its socket.
