a meteor fell next door. We were unharmed, but our neighbors didn't make it
at grandma's house. Mom was looking up at the sky; it was half-cloudy, and she was worried about this one big black cloud that I couldn't see. Finally I went outside and was able to see it. But it wasn't a cloud; it was a big, black, scary-looking thing in the shape of a diamond.
From last night:
I went to apply for a job at Old Country Buffet, which was where FOI used to be. There were lots of other people from school there, including Kayla, who used to have a few classes with me last year. The lady there interviewed me, and seemed a little detered that I was still in high school, but wasn't bothered by anything else. She kept me in the room we were interviewing in for a long time while she went to check on something else, and when she came back, she appologised and said they didn't really have need for me, and gave me two disposable kodak cameras as consolation.
