sagesariaNow that I've found my daily George Carlin Callendar, I'm going to be posting a Carlin of the Day every day this year. Because I can. And to start:
January 1st:
"I'm an outside by choice, but not truly. It's the unpleasentness of the system that keeps me out, I'd rather be in, in a good system. That's where my discontent comes from: being forced to choose to stay outside."
January 2nd:

Isn't it interesting to know that those who run your live would have the nerve to tell you about it in this manner? Suffer, you fools. We know everything you do, and we know where you go. What do you think cameras are for? And global-positioning satellites? And the Social Security numbers? You belong to us. And it can't be changed. Sign your petitions, walk your picket lines, bring your lawsuits, cast your votes, and write those stupid letters to whomever you please; you won't change a thing. because we control your lives. And we have plans for you. Go back to sleep."
January 3rd:
"IN THE FUTURE:
The human life span will be extended to 200 years, but the last 150 will be spent in unremitting pain and sadness."
January 4th:
"I'm starting to get more compassionate. I gotta watch that."
January 5th:
"Now, a few basic points about driving. One of the first things they teach you in Driver's Ed is where to put your hands on the steering wheel. They tell you put 'em at ten o'clock and two o'clock. Never mind that. I put mine at 9:45 and 2:17. Gives me an extra half hour to get where I'm goin'."
January 6th:
"Regarding a wild-goose chase, why are these wild geese supposed to be so hard to find? They're right up there in the sky. I see them flying over in big flocks all the time in the spring and fall. They don't seem to be hiding. So why do we make such a big deal out of this?"
Weekend quote:
"A cheetah is actually slower than an armadillo. It only appears to be faster, because the armadillo moves so slowly."
