I've seen them twice live... once I had second row seats.
They were originally a progressive heavy metal band from Florida called Savatage, who put the "Sarajevo 12/24" instrumental on their "Dead Winter Dead" album (1995) and the new project took off from there.
I love them too! My friend sent me, I swear, must have been 30-40 songs by them ^_^ The one you listed is my fav though, followed by Mad Russian's Christmas.
