EDIT: you know what, fuck it. I'm tired of people making fun of my costume behind my back instead of *constructive* critisism TO MY FACE!!! Or being nit-picky about one little detail in a costume! "ZOMG Magus doesn't have purple hair! You're costume is wrong! It SUXXORZ!" Gods, grow the fuck up!

From now on, all my pictures from Otakon and my cosplay are Friends Only.

I saw where they criticized our stuff on cosplayfucks, but it didn't really bother me. Unless you are my friend, I really could care less what other people think, especially petty people that make it a point to publically slam other people's stuff.

Yes, it's mean, and yes it's unfair, but people criticize people all the time, on every walk of life, no matter what you do or who you are -- this is no different. I'm not going to let people like that control my feelings on what I do in my spare time. I'll still cosplay, I'll still post photos whereever I want. But they're not going to get a rise out of me because frankly, I don't care. IMO, jumping on them and replying nastily or angrily in their community just feeds them and eggs them on, and frankly, it sort of stoops to their level because that's what they want to get out of making fun of people -- a reaction.

So in short, WTFever. :)

It's kinda natural to feel that way towards jerky people, though, so it's not really bad. But I've just seen so much of it that I just don't care anymore! ^^;;

In a word - fuckem. A tiny group (there's like 4 people in the "club") of not-pretty-enough-to-be-in-the-in-crowd-and-not-unusual-enough-to-be-cool trying to feel cool by snarking at people they don't even know... and violating their own rules in the process (what was that line on the info page about people who were only in a group because they were friends with a moderator? yeah... pot? meet kettle)? It just screams pathetic. Which makes them beneath your notice, kid...
