sagesaria1. How long have you been RPing?
hrm, that's though. I've always been into acting and stuff since I was like...three, but I hadn't gotten into online rp until......Sophomore year of high school?
2. What got you into RP?
Going by online, probably one of the chatrooms that Damien got me into that had roleplay as well as general chat. I miss some of those people ._.
3. What kind of games have you participated in?
Chatroom, lj, tried Gaia for a while but got lost in the noise, and sometimes I had IC characters on EverQuest. And also one brief session of D&D at a night of Balticon. I should try to check out the D&D club at my college next semester >>
4. What genres do you prefer?
I can't really answer that because my pickiness for games comes from more than just the genre. I like games that can be serious, but also really funny. I like games with a setting that I can plunk a character down in and be at least partially sure of what I'm doing.
5. Ever NPC?
I've NPCd a few characters in casual LARPs my friends and I used to play, and on FH I've NPC'd quite a bit. My list of NPCs has included Saria's host family, Error from Zelda: Adventure of Link, a random MMO n00b, the cameraman from Earthbound, and my two exclusive recurring NPCs for the game: The Fourth Wall, Jade's AI assistant Secundo, and Suupuushan. I also NPC all the Zelda characters in the personal RP that PR and I had been doing.
6. Ever play an OC?
I had some really crappy ones back in the days of that chatroom listed above. I don't even remember their names. Other than that, I write more than I RP OCs. Though I do have an Everquest OC I hope to play at Purgatorium when I come back from Faerie Fest and have enough icons for him. *cuddles Dannipet*
7. Who is the hardest character you've ever played?
Vaarsuvius. Hands. Down. That androgynous elf was a pain in the ass. He's an awesome character, but I just couldn't get his rants right. He's so wordy, and I don't know how to do his level of wordy. I dunno how Rich does it three times a week X_X
Roushi's also tricky, not only because he's so damn lazy, but because he's so deep. His thoughts are so....thoughtful. I can never properly give off his omnipotent, contemplative aura.
8. The easiest?
Saria. She's been a muse with me since the chatroom rp days. She's just so simple and so not, but it just comes naturally to me. Probably because she's so young and innocent.
9. Out of all the characters you've played, who's been your favorite thus far?
This varies from day to day XDDD the most fun I can have with a character is usually with Foxxy or Flea. Flea is just amazing with his energy and perkiness and his all-out love for the world. I love pasting in all those hearts XD And Foxxy...well, more on her later XDDD
I also love playing Saria. Her innocence is refreshing when I'm surrounded by emo characters like Tsukasa and Makubex. Even though I'm not anymore ;_; She's just a total sweetheart and I love having her reach out to people.
Fugen is interesting to play too. It's a little tricky playing somebody who's more patient than yourself and who is barely phased by anything. But I just love figuring him out, and his gentleness makes it fun to put him against other characters, though most of our contentious ones are gone now :C
10. Are there any characters that you'd love to play, but can't for some reason or another?
I played Monk once in a theatre improv game, and that was a lot of fun. But I doubt I could do that for a long time.
11. Are there any characters you'd love to see in your game(s)?
Fanny and Purg need to hold onto a Link for more than a week DX my Midnas can't take much more of the disappearing act. I'd also love to see more Houshin Engi or Drawn Together characters. Especially a Xandir. I should ask Anthoney if he still wants to join us XD
12. Out of all the characters you've played, which one can you relate to the most?
Most likely Saria. I've had her name as my own ever since I played Ocarina of Time, and somebody once said to me "As far as I'm concerned, you ARE Saria". She's basically my inner child. Also I think I can relate to Jade a little bit; young and optimistic, shutterbugs, love the color green XD and we both bounce back quickly about most things, or at least get through some sad things with a smile and a sense of humor. Fugen hits my empathy points too. I hate conflict as much as he does. He cried when he had to kill somebody; you guys know what happens if I so much as THINK I've hurt or upset someone XD;;
13. Who is the zaniest character you've played?
Nobody will argue with me on this, I guarantee it XD FOXXY. She's just so wild and perverted and SO not me, and everytime she posts somebody's brain breaks.
14. Who is the first character you played?
...God like I remember. Probably either Saria, somebody from HE, or my crappy OC
15. Is there a standard type of character you like to play?
I try to keep as much variety as I can in my characters. The only thing I can immediately pinpoint is that none of my characters have official birthdays XD and most of them seem to have an emo moment sooner or later. Other than that I don't think they're standard. Somebody else could point me to evidence otherwise, though, 'cause I dunno XDDD
