sagesariaMidna: Before the Lakebed Temple, Link had a vision about the Fused Shadow's history and the dangers it holds. Apprehensive and shaken, he quit being Midna's assistant and left her. She came to Fandango High School to amuse herself (she was convinced that he was going to come back), and fell in love with the city and hasn't left.
Saria: The Great Deku Tree's dying wish was for Saria to go out into the world. So she found her way somehow to modern day America, moved in with the Seijis, and started attending Fandango High.
Roushi: Yuukyo kicked him out to look for a job because she was tired of him being lazy.
Foxxy: Snuck out of the Hot Topic she was being held hostage in while the show was on hiatus, and flew to Florida for a job.
Flea: Actually, he doesn't know how he got here. The portal sent him, but he doesn't know that. He just pretends that he moved here.
Jade: Flew in from the planet Hillys because her business is slow and she wants to learn more about photography to improve.
Jack: took a boat in, just like he does (supposedly) in all the HM games. Wanted to start a new farm, and pass on his skills.
Fugen: Flew down from Mount Kongrong by Genshitenson's orders to keep an eye on Taikoubou.
Elan: came from the portal with Vaarsuvius.
Suupuushan: Was looking for Taikoubou, who ran off while he was sleeping, and ended up stumbling into a portal, which of course meant finding Bou XD
Wolf: Came in through a portal, which was in the magic mirror that in canon would have sent him to New York City.
Raishinshi: Also a portal-arrival, but if you ask him he'll say he flew here.
