Feedback would be appreciated. I took my sample log from an actual scene in the anime, but I feel like it could be better. But it's already 550 words DX

Character’s Name: Raishinshi Ki
Character’s Fandom: Senkaiden Houshin Engi
Character’s Personality: Raishinshi has a lot of spirit, but not a lot of wit. He prefers to solve problems with fists rather than brains, and tends to be rather irrational. But he means well; he has a strong perspective of right and wrong, and will immediately let wrong-doers know that he disapproves. He wants to be a superhero and make his late adopted father proud. He has a flare for the dramatic, possibly even a firework for the dramatic, and likes to show off whenever he can. He's a little embarassed about how much he looks like a bat, but you'd never know it just by looking at him.
Canonical/History link: (note; I am going by his anime canon, which is rather different from his manga canon) Raishinshi was born during the Yin dynasty in China, and abandoned as an infant. He was found by Ki Shou, Lord of the West, and adopted as his 100th son. Moments after the decision was made, a representative of the Sennin (immortal) world descended and took the child to train and become a Sennin, giving him the name Raishinshi, as it was lightning that brought Ki Shou to him. Raishinshi trained in the Sennin world for years, under an abusive and eccentric master, Unchuushi. Then when he was about ten years old ((IIRC)), he was given a fruit that changed his life forever; upon eating it, his skin grew dark, his ears pointed, and he sprouted magical bat-like wings. Enraged, he left the Sennin world on his newfound wings and spent the proceeding years of his life as a Robin Hood, picking on thieves and greedy scrooges. But one night during a raid, he encountered a fellow member of the Sennin world, Taikoubou, who refused to let him continue his petty banditing in the name of justice. Enraged, Raishinshi challenged him to a one-on-one fight, in which he was ultimately defeated and humiliated. Upon being shown how weak he was, Taikoubou invited him on a quest against Dakki, the emperor's demon wife who was slowly destroying the empire. Raishinshi agreed, and joined Taikoubou alongside the artificial human Nataku and the genius Youzen. They fought their way to the imperial palace, joining with Ki Shou's army against the Yin along the way. Raishinshi did not get to fight against Dakki herself, however, as Taikoubou insisted that he stay with Ki Shou, especially since the old man had fallen ill. When Dakki was defeated, a sudden conspiracy was revealed in the Sennin World, and Raishinshi joined Taikoubou again for one last battle, in which he took serious injuries, but survived to see the end of the battle. Upon returning to the human world, Ki Shou died with his sons at his side, and Raishinshi went off alone as a vigilante.
Sample RP Log: "Don't look so down, Oyaji!" Raishinshi exclaimed, raising an awkward eyebrow. The old man before him blinked out of his thoughts, the tears in his eyes vanishing.
"I'm no good at things like that." he continued.
It was almost amazing that the dark-skinned teenager wasn't emotional himself. After all, here he was, after years in the Sennin World, living his wish of meeting this man. Ki Shou, the Lord of the West. His father.
Raishinshi could barely remember the day Ki Shou found him abandoned in the woods, but he had always known who it was who saved him and adopted him that day. He had the honor of being the 100th son, the one chosen to be raised as a Sennin. He knew someday he would finally see Ki Shou face to face, and now here they were.
The old man approached slowly, looking down on the boy, a full head shorter than he. Raishinshi merely smiled, one canine fang sticking out of the corner of his lip.
"Raishinshi, you have grown so much." he mumbled in his tired old voice, putting his hands on his son's shoulders with a smile.
"But..." his eyes wandered to something he could see over Raishinshi's shoulder, "What are those?"
"These?" Raishinshi looked back to where the old man was staring, extending one of the bat-like wings attatched to his shoulderblade.
"These are my Paopei*, Tensoyoku. It's an excellent Paopei that lets me fly and call down wind and lightning." he explained proudly, extending his other wing and flapping them lightly.
Ki Shou watched for a moment, impressed, then a smile came to his face again.
"I remember. Lighting was what led us to you."
His wings flapped more, giving him some slight lift of the ground. Dust scattered as Raishinshi hovered, now meeting his father's eyes from above.
"Oyaji..." he began, once again using the informal term for his father, "they told me in the Sennin World to help you and to save the others in this world when I grew up." a smirk came across his face, "So, I decided. I'll defeat the villains in the Human World with my powers."
"Oh? Defeat Villains?"
Raishinshi looked around the surroundings briefly, taking everything in, before looking back down at Ki Shou, his smile never fading.
"The Human World's really crazy right now, you know? I decided that I'd fly all over and change the world."
Since Ki Shou was in a high position in the world, Raishinshi suspected that upon returning home he'd be offered work with him. But he didn't want that. And he was happy and relieved to see the understanding smile on the old man's face.
"If that is what you have decided, then go."
"Yeah." Raishinshi grinned, slowly hovering higher, "I'll make the world a better place! Watch me!" he called as he was almost full altitude, turning with a wave to fly off. It was a shame to leave already, but there was hero's work to be done.
There was a pause behind him, before "Raishinshi!"
"Huh?" Raishinshi stopped, turning back to look at Ki Shou.
"I am proud to have made you my one hundredth child."
Raishinshi's puzzled expression quickly faded to a smile again. He nodded, giving the old man a thumbs up, and taking off for the horizon.
* - Paopei are the weapons of the Sennin World, a mix of magic and technology.
Sample Journal: Wow, it sure is dark down here. Oi, does anybody know what this place is? I think I got blown off course or something.
It sure is a shady place, huh? Maybe I could be useful. Anybody need a hero?
