In the famous symphony Peter and the Wolf, all the instruments represented different characters in the tale; Peter was the whole string section, the bird was a flute, the duck was an oboe, the cat was a clarinet, Peter's grandfather was a bassoon, the hunters were a timpani and base drum, and the wolf was a trio of French horns.

What instrument represents your characters in the roleplay symphony and why?

Midna: a solo string instrument. I've heard Midna's theme in the game performed with various instruments, including oboe, chimes, and piano, but when I hear it on violin or cello, like in the end of the game's title theme or the beginning of this OCremix, it touches me. Sad, a little haunting, and maybe just a touch regal. It suits her.

Saria: Ocarina, hands down. A very small, cute sound. Not to mention it's her instrument of choice.

Roushi: Guqin; oriental, a little mysterious, a little sleepy

Foxxy: Saxaphone; jazzy and upbeat.

Flea: TBA

Jade: Asian flute. Pretty, soothing, entrancing. I'm pretty sure it's the instrument used for her theme, too.

Dragon: recorder; bright and cheery

Jack: Acoustic guitar; nostalgic, peaceful, and I always get mental images of the countryside when I listen to a lot of solo guitar pieces.

Fugen: Erhu; sweet, beautiful, oriental, and can also sound a little sad. For some reason I keep associating sad things with Fugen...maybe because Fay reminds me of Fugen?

Elan: Kazoo; silly, fun, and just a tad annoying after a while XD

Suupuushan: banjo; silly and bizarre

Wolf: Native-American flute; high and slow like a wolf's howl
