ZOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMG REEEEEEEEEENNNNNNT
Sep. 7th, 2005 10:29 pmI want it to be November already! I wanna see RENT!!!! Mom and I are really excited about this movie. Moreso than even Phantom of the Opera! Mostly because most of the cast is from the very first production of the play, which means a: they know their characters like the back of their hands, b: they trust the director to know what he's doing with their show, and c: listening to them all sing together (like in the trailor :D), they have the same feel as the original broadway production. But I do have one comment...
Shouldn't it be released in December? On the 24th?
(by now, the biggest Rent fans are going "Hey yeah! She's right!" while the rest are going "WTF are you thinking? We'd have to wait longer!")
I also saw a clip the crew made of Collins and Angel (I don't remember their real names) goofing around, and I actually heard Angel speak naturally, not in his character's femenine voice. It's frightening how low that man's natural voice is! And he *sings* in the upper range! Talk about tallent!

Date: 2005-09-08 11:52 pm (UTC)Hey, it would be pretty cool if it were released on the 24th. X) I'm surprised they didn't think of that; maybe they didn't want to compete with "traditional" holiday movies? =\
