This was brought up because of a project in Creative Writing where we had to write about our thumbprints. I wrote this because it looked like a caterpillar. I used too much ink. LOL
Fuzzy caterpillar in the grass
Wriggling in your carefree way
Always hungry, never sleeping
Dreaming awake throughout the day
For someday you shall earn your wings
Flying free with beauty and grace
But for now, just crawl on your merry way
With never a worry, and stuff your face
