Day 19: Your favorite love song.

I have to admit, there are some days where love songs bug me. How they're pretty much all "I love you so much you're so beautiful I can't live without you blah blah blah". But this one's different somehow; I never get tired of it. It's just so optimistic and romantic without being the same shit spouted all over again. It has that feeling of being at peace after being so scared to try again and so heavy-hearted. It's comforting. (COUGHit'salsomyFugenTaiitsuimagesongherpderpCOUGH)

First one I could think of, and yeah, definitely my favorite. I love how it's not a weepy, guilty breakup song; she's giving the middle finger to the guy and it certainly sounds like he deserves it. I'd love to find the chords for this sometime.

Day 26: Your favorite music video.

It always bugs me when music videos have nothing to do with the song. But this one, in a way, I think is relevant. The song is pretty surreal, and as far as I've gathered reading the lyrics it's about a dream, and it has that feeling of childlike wonder and belief in magic in it, so flipping the "magic" switch on the keyboard and bringing the toys to life makes perfect sense to me. And while there aren't any fireflies to be seen, there sure are a lot of lights, so it counts.
