playfirst games:
They're the ones that made Diner Dash, do I even need to say any more? Back when I had a desktop I used to play every demo they'd throw at me. Diner Dash was always my favorite series, but there was also Cake Mania, Bejeweled variants, even some RPGs that I loved. Someday I should probably browse through again and see if there's anything else I wanna try.
playing guitar:
I'd been taught to play the guitar when I was 10. I loved it; it was so much fun to learn my favorite songs and try to figure out chords to some of them. It was a great socializer for me too; whenever I went to a con or a party or such I'd bring my guitar and hide in a corner and play, somebody was sure to make conversation about it. I won the whole school over with it once, by performing in the talent contest every year. Though that kind of made some people think of me as their personal jukebox. After high school I kind of fell out of playing all the time, I'm trying to get back into it now.
ron white:
I never thought I'd actually like a comedian troupe called "Blue Collar", but Damien once upon a time forced me to watch their first movie, and I fell in love with them. Well, three of them. Who actually cared about Larry? He was such a black sheep. Anyway, Ron White was the first one to perform on the video, and he instantly became one of my favorites. He's got a great style; he's one of the few comedians who can actually tell jokes as if he's telling humorous anecdotes to his friends. In fact his whole routine is humorous anecdotes, and it works. I think Bill Engvall is higher on the list for me, but White is still awesome.
taiko drum master:
God, I used to be obsessed with this game. Something about drumming games is just so awesome. When I went to my first Otakon, most of my time was spend in the video game room playing DDR, Donkey Konga and Taiko Drum Master. Donky Konga kicked ass, but back then I didn't own a gamecube, so TDM was what I wanted for Christmas. Ever since I got it I've played it pretty much to death. I don't play it much anymore though, since all the songs do get pretty old after a while. Though drumming to William Tell, Hungarian Dance #5, or Katamari On the Rocks is pretty sweet XD
the pillows:
I became familiar with The Pillows pretty much the same way a lot of people did, I'm guessing; FLCL. They did pretty much all the music for FLCL, and I love that anime's soundtrack. For my 17th birthday my friend David gave me a CD of various anime and video game music, at least 8 tracks of which were from the FLCL soundtrack, plus one other song by the Pillows that wasn't in the show, which became one of my favorites on the CD and had thus created enough of a trend to determine that I like the band. I haven't sought out much of their music since though, perhaps I should fix that.
weird quotes:
I pretty much put this into my interests so that perhaps people would click on it and find my community
oocquotes, which I created for people to posts silly quotes that sound really strange out of context. Of course some people primarily post dirty quotes, but w/e.
whoopi goldberg:
Do you NEED a reason to like Whoopi? I swear she's done EVERYTHING; I think she might have been the second actor I ever made the actor-character connection with, first being LeVar Burton. I love her attitude, I love her energy, I just love her. My favorite of her roles is Terri from Jumpin' Jack Flash, another one of my interests XD I loved her on her episode of Whose Line is it Anyway, too; she can be so silly.
