Are those sneakers the most comfortable shoes you own? 'Cause that's what you're gonna want. Me feet KILLED at the end of every day. xX;; Might wanna bring some ibuprofen, too....

Ponchos are much better to bring than umbrellas, by the way.

I would also suggest a small backpack or something of the sort. You tend to accumulate random stuff throughout the day, and it's useful to have somewhere to put all of it.

As for the shoes, there's not much I can do about my feet when I'm in costume, but I figured I should have sneakers :)
