First rehearsal
Jan. 26th, 2009 10:40 pmNot bad for less than six hours of sleep. Really it was just a "read-through", in which we listened to the Who version and Broadway version of the play and talked though the storyline and some of the stage ideas and stuff. They're going for a very rock concert style, which should be a lot of fun. Dunno what scenes I'll be in yet, but it sounds like I'll be dancing more than singing. I hope I get to be in Sparks; it sounds like the most exciting number and it's my favorite instrumental bit. The overture too. I'll probably be in both; they're pretty all-hands-on-deck.
Good sign of the night: When we were introducing ourselves, at one glance when I saw the girl who will be playing Gypsy my first thought was "HELL yeah!" I just got that Gypsy vibe from her, y'know?
The rehearsals sound like they're going to be kinda varied in times over the course of the process, so I'll be posting the schedules as I get them, for my reference and for anybody who might wanna get in touch with me for whatever reason;
Tuesday: 6:30-10:30 PM
Wednesday: same
Thursday: same
Friday: no rehearsal
Saturday: 12-4 PM
Sunday: TBA
