I know dry winter air can cause nosebleeds...

but how severe a nosebleed can one get from that?

Take it from someone who had a major random winter air induced nosebleed once. They can get pretty bad.

baaaaaad, and they keep coming back if your nose stays so dry. i recommend a saline spray, you can get them over the counter for cheap at walgreens or the like and they help tremendously.
