Do you know what the minimum wage is for MD? It is $6.15/hr according to here (http://www.dol.gov/esa/minwage/america.htm#Maryland).

Scruffy's advice is good, if you can manage it. I have not been able to not name a price:
Employer: How much?
Me: You tell me.
Employer: No, you tell me.
Me: You first.
Employer: No, you first.

Me, I'd say $10/hr...but that's at least in part because I have the two of us to take care of. Base it on things like the rent in the area and such...but yes, ask first. ;-)
