If I'd known Frau Elder was going to be late meeting us at the metro to go to lunch, I would have stayed at my last theatre class longer. I only had time to perform my monologue and watch Jessica's. Of course I gave out contact info and cookies...and I said a long goodbye in which Mark hugged me. There should have been more hugs around.

I cried the second I stepped out of the room. Then of course I listened to Clam Chowder's recording of "Partings":

"And I wonder to myself why I cry
For it's 'see you later' not 'goodbye'
But the world's a peculiar place full of sorrow and pain
And a little part of me asks 'When will I see them again?'

And now each parting hurts more than the one before

That class was my home away from home. Maybe I SHOULD major in theatre.

Anyway, after sobbing away on the bus to the station, I met up with my class, waiting around for about an hour because Frau Elder was late (I feel so bad about leaving class early now DDDX) and we went to lunch at the Cafe Mozart in DC. Words cannot describe. That place is AMAZING.
