Very much so, and yes, I apped him XD;;;; Oh god my application looks like a pile of crap. I didn't know what to actually WRITE about him besides the forever-boring usual "Link is a good-hearted hero guy who follows his heart and fights for his friends! 8D" so then I threw in a bunch of AU interests that he has and tried making SOME connection to TP!canonical Link XD;;;
In any case, I'm hoping the mods are so amused by my application that they let me in--I just hope they don't think my app's a joke =/
Well the game's pretty crack, and I've told folk, including one of the mods, that you were coming, so there shouldn't be a problem...I hope.

lol, oh yeah, he'll still have his serious air about him~~ ^o^ That's what MAKES Link, man. But honestly, I find it hard to play someone who's only serious all the time--I like to give them a bit of a fun side :D
And quite frankly? I think Link would be a country-lovin' guy ^o^ For the record, what happened to him? I see that he and Midna were...quite close? At least from the links you gave me to the threads, I figured that.
Oh yeah I have no objections to Link having a fun streak as well. That'll make him more fun to play with and easier to get into the game, imo ^^
Yes, Midna and Link were very close...in fact they were awkward lovers before he left. As for what happened to him, we don't really know. He disappeared a lot since his player had a crappy schedule, and he didn't know where himself. When she finally dropped him, he basically just...didn't come back from wherever he was going. And Midna spiraled into another cycle of angst XD
XD I can't remember what tribe did it but the man would go on a "vision quest" to like...become a man or something. He'd go and have to live off of the wilderness and find a way to survive on his own until he saw some kind of 'vision' (in other words, get high off of nature! 8D) or come to some realization or something and then return to his people as "a man" XDDD
