I think I screwed up on Oracle of Seasons already, and the boss of level 4 of the first game is pissing me off.

Any tips on how to beat him?

If it is, I remember that all I did was attack his claw until it fell off. Then you get out your slingshot and wait for his eye to open and hit him there.

Avoid the claw by running, kill all the larvae, they drop health and sometimes items. :D
