sweet scene

This happened between Midna and Mello yesterday; Mello-mun didn't want to post it because she didn't like how she performed him in this scene. So I just want to point out this scene because it's really sweet.

What caused it: Midna got into an intense argument with Matt, Mello's jealous lover. He said things like Mello didn't love her, and she didn't know anything about him, etc. Mello came by later and Midna was still upset, so he was comforting her, and this came up.

Midna: ... *eyes distant, as though trying to figure something out*
Mello: *looking at her, a bit worried from her distant nature*
Midna: *hesitantly brings an arm around him, never looking at him* ...this is you...right? This is really you?
Mello: ...what? *confused*
Mello: who else would it be?
Midna: ...I don't know...
Midna: Matt said I didn't know who you were...
Midna: I just want to be certain that I really do...
Midna: That the one here...holding me...comforting me...
Midna: *looks up at him* is the real Mello.
Mello: *looking down at her* ...
Mello: ...I don't see who else it would be. maybe you're referring to different sides of my personality...
Mello: but you know by now I lash out at everyone publicly. that doesn't mean I'm always a mean person... *doesn't get it*
Midna: ...*can't put it into any simpler words* *sits up, looking him directly in the eyes*
Midna: *silently caresses his face*
Midna: *brushes his hair back a little* *slowly closes her eyes and brings her lips to his*
Mello: *closes his eyes*
Midna: *clutches him close, kissing him slowly and deeply*
Mello: *responding softly, trying to reassure her with his kiss*
Midna: *pauses after a moment, pulling away hesitantly* *brings her eyes up to his again* *partially to herself*...There you are.
Mello: *cupping her face softly* ...
Mello: *quietly* where else would I be?
Midna: *soft smile*


Yeah, she pulled the "your body will tell me what I need to know" card.
