technology woes

My Gamecube still won't turn on. madbodger, when can you come over and tinker with it?

Also, I've always had the occasional crash on my laptop when I play The Sims, but lately it's been more frequent than seems the norm. Hopefully it's just a fluke, but just in case, I want to try to deal with the problem;

It crashes because the graphics card goes "Waaaaaaaah!" I can understand this happening sometimes because I'm playing a long time or something, but on a few occasions during the con, it blew the minute I logged into a family. Rowan sudgested updating my graphics card. Is there a way to do this online, and if so, what's a URL to download such a thing? Or do I have to manually put in a new card, and if so, how much?

I may have some time on Friday, Sunday, or Monday to look at the GameCube. What's yer schedule like?

Friday I'm out until 7, Sunday I have off, Monday I have night class.

And I'm trying to figure out a time to make up a German test, but I'll probably do that Thursday or Friday.
