sagesariaSo I'm taking a walk to Dunkin Donuts, because I like to sometimes...(if you don't recognise that quote you need to check out Sesyle Joslin and Maurice Sendak books right now!), and I saw some crazy stuff!
On the way there, I saw a meteor. I was just looking up at the starts, because it was really dark, not a cloud in the sky, not a car on the street, perfect view of the sky. Suddenly, FWOOSH! This really bright light streaks across the sky for about one second. It scared me to death at first, but then I was like..."I just saw a meteor...FUCKIN' SWEET! Wait'll I tell Professor Clark!"
Then on the way back from Dunkin Donuts, I saw a critter of some sort. I couldn't make out what it was because it was in silhouette a few feet away as it was crossing the road (felt like I was in a Ghibli movie or something :D), but from its tail, I'm guessing it was a fox. I decided to walk on the other side of the road for a bit after that; didn't want to scare it or get in its way if it for some reason decided to cross again.
So anyway, yeah, cool stuff. Hope ya'll had a great Thanksgiving, and if you're going to Darkover, I'll see you when I get there!
