I'm contemplating the slight possibility of starting a video game club here next semester.
What kind of things do you think I shoul have with it? I'm thinking asking people what kind of games they'd like to play (mostly 2-player, but some 1 player can come in, especially if we could somehow get multiple televisions in), and see who can bring them in when. And have other activities like fanart contests, ddr, music days, discussions, updates on big games and systems ("So...who got a Wii last month?"), etc.
My other main concern is I might end up with people like Davi got in anime club; teenaged boys who hear "video games" and think "Oooh, Halo! Kingdom Hearts is gay, it's got Disney. lol n00b Zelda sux it's got no car chases." (yes, I've already met people like that) But to avoid that I'll probably put disclaimers that it's all kinds of video games.
