I think I've decided that I really don't like English class.

Boring, repetitive, stuff I already know, and sometimes the teacher is a little too harsh on what people don't have or know...

Be strong.

Take the high standards as a challenge.
Everything this teacher demands stands a good chance of being demanded later, and more.

As for harshness", this is just one of the pitfalls you can and will encounter anywhere at anytime.
Use the skills we worked on in guitar and try to tune out the "tone" and just take any criticism as "data". If the teacher is right, then you come out stronger, if the teacher is wrong, you lose nothing by investing nothing in the emotional content of the delivery.

And if you 'already know something', rejoice and take the opportunity to know it as well as you can. The water will get much deeper soon enough.

If you want a challenge, the challenges are there in honors English.

I have to jump in and saw I HATE MY ENGLISH CLASS. So much. I have an incredible amount of work to do for English class this month and it's an online class and I'm not learning a single damn thing that I don't already know. And it's tedious and boring and too much work and....

...This has been building >_> Ignore me *sneaks away*
