I have been absorbed by the video game monster. Damien brought me his PS1 memory card. Oh, sweet, sweet Chrono Trigger, how do I save thee?

Anyway, recap of the party, in a giant coconutshell.

Friday:
Damien was the first to arrive. He tried to set up his computer in the back of the movie room while I played Harvest Moon: Save the Homeland. He only somewhat got to set it up; he couldn't sign onto our network LOL. Pobrecito. Anyway, Orenda came around...I want to say 9, but I'm not sure about that. We goofed around some, including with my computer microphone ^_^ that was fun. Then we did some cleaning. Damien vacuumed the stairs while I swept and mopped the foyer and I kept finding ways to make Orenda useful :P And we listened to some good music; I mopped the floor to the opening theme of Gravitation ^__^ then we played Best Deception by Dashboard Confessional for Orenda, 'cause that song always makes me think of Gravi. Then we listened to a CD with Sonic Adventure and a few DDR songs. That was about when Jordi showed up, and I made her help out with some of the bathroom stuff. We listened to Hybrid Theory while I mopped the kitchen, and we all pitched in drying it off :D That was fun. When that was all finished, suecochran and Matthew arrived, and he let me use his Gamecube to play Harvest Moon: A Wonderful Life. Rowan arrived around 2 AM :P we hung out in my room for about an hour before she decided to go downstairs to hang out with the others and I decided to go to bed.

Saturday:
Woke people up at 10, and spent a whole hour goofing around with the video camera. Heather showed up at 11 and gave me my own copy of Gravi book 1! Yaaaay! Once she showed up, we all went out to Old Country. We tried to make a phone post while we were there, but we lost service in the middle, so we couldn't post it :( Eating at Old Country was fun; Damien kept telling really bad stand-up and johncochran and scarlettj9 gave me a book of Spirited Away art :D After eating and talking and laughing, and I figured out how to play Saria's Song and Magus's theme on my cell phone (dials, not ring tones ;_;) we dropped people off at home, and Mom and I went to pick up David. He was a little behind because he overslept, but that's ok :D He got to come earlier than we expected because we were picking him up :D So we brought David to the house, introduced him to people, and then we watched Neverending Story :D Matthew asked some good questions about it as we were watching, and I must bring them up when I write my blog about Neverending Story book vs. movie.

Then I got more presents. David got me books 1 and 2 of Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind, his copy of Final Fantasy 9, and a disc of anime music. And he also played "Happy Birthday" on his viola *_* Sue and Matthew got me some PS2 games (a collection of old arcade games, and Beyond Good and Evil). scruffycritter and Mom got me a new CD player and a cell phone cover :D

Then we played DDR. I got some clips of David and Orenda playing, and Rowan taped me doing one of the best sessions of Holic I've ever done. We couldn't get Heather on tape though; the battery died :( David had to leave at 6 for a viola recital, so we took a break from DDR and got some food, and we watched the tape I made last summer. David came back around 7 (right when we were just talking about him, which was amusing), and we kept watching the tape through the stuff from the day. David said something really sweet while we were watching;

Me: *watching myself on tape* Damn, look at that fat girl on the tv.
David: Where? I don't see her?

ToT So sweet!

I think we played a little more DDR, but I don't remember. But we *did* teach David the infamous Dai Poteito chant :D and then he taught us a game called "Moosy Moosy," but changed it to "Moshi-Moshi" to make it Otaku-ish ^__^

David and Heather had to leave at 10 :( but I got a biiiig birthday glomp from David and he let me borrow his DDR pad since his PS2 is busted (Pobrecito ;_;). Damien, Matthew and Cory (Rowan's brother) and I played a round of Mario Party 2, which was fun, and then Rowan and I went upstairs and I sharked her .hack CD that I've wanted forever ToT We listened to it for a while, then she went downstairs. I followed a little later and found them all watching the Cowboy Beebop movie. It was better than what I'd seen of the anime, I'll give it that. I fell asleep in the middle, though.

Not much to report from Sunday. Just that I took pictures (see below), we tortured Jordi, Damien played some Beyond Good and Evil, both of us played some Paperboy, and everyone left ;_;
