So, I wake up naturally this morning, as I do sometimes, and I glace at the clock. 6:30?! Shit! I should've been up by now! I leap out of bed and check my email quickly while frantically gathering my stuff. I have an email from schoolsout.com; school is canceled today.

Phew!

Not only am I relieved that I'm not late for school, as the clock tells me, but I've really REALLY needed a break. Katsucon was a wonderful break, but apparently it wasn't enough. Probably because I lost sleep on it.

*slumps back into bed*

Oh Good. They're not being stupid. While there's not much out there not this is not a day for school buses to be out there!! or for kids (or teenagers) to be walking around with all these nutso drivers skidding. Nope. Be safe & warm & sleep in. And anyway they've hardly used any school days this year - they can aford to err on the side of caution right now.
