A meme as part of my break from the rediculous amount of German homework I have already -_-

I made this a while ago on Dookyweb, when I was making every emote that I could with it to make icons. Obviously, this one is sick.

menstrualmiko made this a while ago and posted it on _hyrule_. I claimed it as my default for a long time, before I found Dookyweb. Once I did, I took it off. After a while, my account started growing and I added this one back, as posts to hyrule or any blogs about Zelda in general. In case you haven't noticed, Saria is my favorite Zelda character of all time.

I took a bunch of pictures of Purr in the corner I set aside for all of her toys and stuff (yes, Purr has toys :D). This picture was cute so I decided to make it an icon.

God, I haven't used this icon on posts in ages...it's from Buffy the Vampire Slayer; Oz kissing Willow on the forhead when she was in the hospital for head trauma. I loved Oz and Willow when they were a couple. Seriously, you should have seen my post in the episode where they broke up. Anyway, somebody on btvsfans made it, I don't remember who, but I took it because it was such a beautiful shot of the scene.

lol...I made this around the same time I made fangrlspwn, the community that my friends and I share for party announcements, randomness, and begging for writer's block help. I wanted to take one of our pictures and make it into an icon. I picked that picture of Orenda because her face was funny, and the caption was obvious. Voila.

I made this one last year when I rented the Sonic the Hedgehog movie, watching for the first time in years, and the first time in Japanese for me. That scene made me laugh my head off, so I made an icon of it, along with several other icons from the movie that I made.

I took this one from iconicaly_hales because I thought it was funny, and over this year it's become my general video game blog icon :P

I made this one during my really big Drawn Together kick. I kept that DVD for months, and one of the reasons I kept it so long was to take screenshots and make icons. This one had an obvious caption, so I gave it a shot :P

I took this one from someone on either drawn_together or drwn_2gthr_icon because it was just too damn cute. It's now used when I talk about seeing friends and things like that.

Another icon I made from the Sonic movie. I thought it was cute, so I use it at obvious moments :P

Skywise; my absolute favorite character from my absolute favorite comic series (Elfquest). I made this icon from my favorite picture of him, and I use it when talking about class. I think you can figure out which class ;)


Bleh, that was pathetic. Maybe I'll go into more detail later. Meanwhile, there's a meme I just made up that I want to try.

Pick five songs that have specific images or feelings associated with them no matter what you do with them. Five songs which bring things to mind that are burned into your brain. List them and explain why they affect you this way, or why you think they do.

1. Nemo - Nightwish
I'm sure this song is probably about Captain Nemo, but everytime I hear it now, all I can think about are the Nobodies from Kingdom Hearts 2. The lyrics are all about feeling alone and lost and empty, much like the Nobodies do. In fact, the line "touch me with your love and reveal to me my true name" kinda reminds me of Axel. No, I'm not a complete supporter of Axel/Roxas, even though it MIGHT happen, but Axel did say that Roxas made him feel more whole than he was.

2. Ghost Love Score - Nightwish
It's all Damien's fault that this song makes me think of Legend of Zelda. More specifically, it reminds me of the end of the Doujinshi we're writing. It's perfect battle music and the lyrics matched exactly what was going on. Or at least they do now; I didn't go so deep into the emotional stuff around the battle until this song. Moreover, the proceeding song of GLS, Kuolema Tekee Taiteilijan, is perfect for the aftermath of the big fight. Lyrics and all; I happened upon the translations a while ago.

3. Boys of Summer - Don Henley
I always cry during this song. But it's not the lyrics, even though it is a sad song. Something always hits me really hard when the guitar part comes in at the very beginning of the song, and I end up crying so hard by the end that I can't even sing along. I really don't know why that first chord gets me.

4. Falling for the First Time - Barenaked Ladies
This is actually the fault of a music video. This is my absolute favorite song my BN, and when I was browsing the AMV.org Gravitation section one day, I saw this song used in one. I decided to watch it, because I hadn't heard the song in a long time. Turns out, this was a match made in heaven. Everytime I read the lyrics now, it's describing Yuki, Shuichi and their relationship in a few simple words. And the music is also very bouncy and bittersweet and reminds me just a little bit of the anime's soundtrack.

5. Hello - Evanessence
I'm amazed that nobody else has done it; I really want to make a music video of this song to .hack//SIGN. Seriously, nobody else thought of that? Well, at least someone used Imaginary, which works super as well :D Both songs are about denying reality, although Imaginary is more about wanting to stay away from reality, while Hello wants to come back to it, although it's a little more complicated than that. Every time I listen to the song, I play my perfect AMV in my head. Someday I'll do it...someday...

I think I'm ok...it's just that we have a rediculous amount of homework on the first day of class...it's all easy stuff, but it's a LOT.
