You know how some days I wish I could go back and change something stupid that I did?

Well, I had a thought of what life would be like if somebody created like...a virtual reality system where you could go to an incident in the past and see what would happen if you did something different.

I was thinking about this because I happened upon this LJ post of mine, when there was a gas leak at my high school and we were forced to stay outside the library parking lot, still not allowed to use cell phones, limited water supply (we had to wait in line in the glass box of a library entrance), and absolutely nothing to entertain ourselves. We were stuck out there for two hours, and I was really pissed at the school system after that. A thought came upon me as I read the post; what would have happened if I pretended to faint?

Obviously, I don't want to actually live that out, because things would probably get ugly, but I would like to see what would happen, just for curiosity's sake.

Think a few more decades of technology could give us that?

That randomly reminds me of the What If machine from Futurama. That'd be cool to have, actually. Just ask a machine "what if?" questions and get to watch what would have happened.

Knowing our government, we already have that technology. They just haven't told us. XD
