Finally beat Link’s Awakening! Wow…the half-existant plot was more complicated than I thought.

See, at first I thought the whole thing was just Link’s dream. That there wasn’t really a point at all; it was all just a big dream as Link drifted with the flotsam of his boat.

But then they started talking about it all being the Wind Fish’s dream. What? I thought Link was dreaming!

Then apparently he is. And the Wind Fish flies over him. Were he and Link somehow connected or something? Like those dreams in Buffy?

Bah, whatever…it still doesn’t really have a signifigance to the rest of the series. But at least it was fun!

Games left to beat:
Legend of Zelda
Adventure of Link
both Oracle games (Must replace copy of Oracle of Ages)
Four Swords Adventures (is that like a multiplayer version of LTTP or something? Thatâ™d be awesome!)
The Minish Cap (Iâ™ll have to upgrade my systems again for that D: )
Twighlight Princess
The Phantom Hourglass

I'm awaiting a direct sequel/companion to Link's Awakening... they hint at it in MM, because one of the tunes mentioned somewhere in the game i believe has a title like "Ballad of the Wind Fish" or "The Wind fish's song" or soemthing like that. But, it is left as a "who's dream was it? is it real? huh? and what's up with the Goombas, Tarin/Mario and the other mario connections?" lmao

Oracle of Ages = a good contrast to Seasons, but felt like Light/Dark worlds of Link to the Past... Not my favorite. Not, IMO as good as...

Oracle of Seasons = one great game. Subrosia's a little tedious sometimes tho

Minish Cap = for some reason i wasn't feeling it. The "get small" idea wasn't intuitive to me and i felt like i spent a lot of time trying to figure out where to go. I like the updated graphics tho.

TP = damn, i hope it's not too hard so i can't beat it.

FSA = it's a multiplayer version of four swords found on the GBA LttP cartridge, but for Gamecube (involving the GC-GBA link cables *cough ripoff cough*... f***ing connectivity). Either version of four swords is kind of like the Gauntlet games of old... However many Links you have, you scramble for rupees and to get somewhere first, but you also have to co-op on a lot of stuff. It's an interesting idea and a lot of fun, but feels little like a Zelda game because there is essentially no plot. 3.5/5 stars.

Hmm...either way, a goal's a goal. I won't know my oppinion of any of the games until I play 'em. (Although making an Ezlo puppet was a helluva good time :D)

Majora's Mask's Ballad of the Windfish really saddened me. Why couldn't they just play the old version instead of trying to make it into an instrument game?

...yeah...

anyways, I missed the point: Link and the Wind Fish were connected. I'm just sad that the Wind Fish hasn't really returned in a tangible way.
