This "motivation" thing is hard.

While I'm doing other stuff on the computer, I'm trying to work toward actually doing something useful this summer. One of the things I need to do is replace my Social Security Card.

I went to SSA.gov to see what I needed to do. They gave me a PDF which I should look at eventually, and they also said that I need to "Present a recently issued document to show your identity." What do they need there? Would my college ID work, or my birth certificate?
