test went well
Aug. 9th, 2006 10:55 pmI think, anyway. It was a fairly short test; I breezed through the english parts no problem. Slowed up a little on the math part, but there was mostly easy Algebra on it.
After the test, I went to the counseling building to make an appointment for the meeting I need to have to get test scores and learn more information about surviving. I call it Introduction to College for N00bs. Not to be confused with College for N00bs, which is a class I have to take for at least a month.
Anyway, while I was walking to the counseling building, I realised that I really am gonna like college. MC doesn’t have the prettiest campus, but it feels much less cramped than high school. In high school, we had walls on all sides, poorly-ventalated halls, and the only sunlight you’d see all day would be found if you went outside for gym, went into the courtyard, or happened to have a nice spot by the window. Here, I actually get to walk in nature from building to building. Between classes, I could sit in a picnic table by the pond with a notebook or laptop. (dreamy sigh) I should bring a camera next time I get onto the campus.
I should see if I can register for classes now. I don’t want to try to wait until after my appointment, because it’s not until the 21st, but I’m not sure if I can register until after. Well, let’s see what happens.
In other news, the art show at the county fair is taking submissions tomorrow. I think I'm going to submit my collage, and that nice picture of David that I took at Otakon.
