It's official. Second period is the best period when you need cheering up.

I was really upset and embarrassed about having a brain freeze in Spanish, which is usually my best subject, so I went to second period in tears. I explained to my partner Sami what happened, and after a few minutes she wrote a cheer-upper on a post-it note and stuck it on my warm-up paper.

Then when Mrs. Hines came around to stamp our warm-ups, she stamped it and then stamped the post-it note.

I was feeling better by the end of the period :)
