is there a way to delete things from iTunes without it taking what's missing off of the iPod on the next update?

I don't have the space to upload everything to iTunes, and I want to be sure to get everything on the iPod.

Hmm, you mean upload things to your library without them going onto the iPod? I'm not sure. There might be a setting for it, I'll poke around

no I mean if I have to delete stuff from iTunes so I can have room on my computer, is there a way to do that without said deleted items disappearing from my iPod next update?

Ohhh! Okay, well. I deleted about 8 folders of music off my computer but kept them in my iTunes library and my iPod didn't remove them. So I think as long as it's listed in the library, it stays. Even if it can't find the files, it'll save them to your iPod

Nah, the only way the library takes up space is if you do this compression thing and it'll resave all your songs from the library. But as long as you don't do that, it should be fine

You're welcome! And no, I don't have a video iPod, so no idea how it works. I remember it took my friend ages to figure out how to do it, so good luck
