I finally got switched into statistics and I learned Caesar Cipher. Basically, you take the letters and replace them with the letters three over (toward a if you're writing it, toward z if you're translating). Same if you have characters and spaces; space, a, b, c...z, period, comma, exclaimation point. And of course if you get to the end of the line, you go back to the beginning.
