There's this girl in my English class, Katrina. She just moved here. I think she's moving again eventually, but I'm not sure when.
Anyway, second day in class together, I found out that she's an otaku. Class period went MUCH faster ever since. I thought that we were headed for quite a friendship.
But then, after Tuesday's anime club meeting, we had a squabble.
She mentioned that she was watching Fullmetal Alchemist, and I commented that I couldn't watch it very often because it was depressing. Suddenly, she flips;
"It's NOT depressing!"
"Are you kidding me? I bawled like a baby by episode 4!"
"Well you suck then! *storms away*"
WTFF?
I suck just because I'm a sensitive person who finds some things depressing?
(there was more to that argument, but we can skip that.)
We didn't talk for a while after that. I was half expecting her to come over and try to talk to me yesterday and we would end up arguing (or sorting things out) yesterday, but she didn't say a word, or even look at me. At the time I thought "Oh my God, she really does hate me now. What a bitch!"
Today, classtime was pretty much the same, but then after class, as I was walking away, she tapped my on the shoulder and appologised. Apparently she's bipolar, and her anti-depressants make her freaky.
Comunication is an awsome thing. We should all try it sometime.
