Trick-or-treating with Heather was the most fun I've had in quite a few Halloweens ^_^

- talking about my wizard school story idea, and getting some ideas for broom-riding cheerleaders by fiddling around with her prop broom
- confusing the hell out of the neighbors with my costume (pictures will be coming ASAP!)
- one house completely decorated like a medievil castle
- another house with the strobelight murder in the window that I mentioned in my phone post
- the last house we visited with homemade moving dolls on the front porch! fucking blew my mind away!
- "There's a fuzzy thing on your butt" (discovering that Heather had a fuzzy pom-pom bat on a string of her robe)
- one house with a black cat living in it, and it ran by when the door opened..."Heather...I believe a black cat has just crossed our path!"
- shining my flashlight on Heather's ass
- Heather retaliating to the above later when I dropped my flashlight
- my cell phone (set to vibrate) going off in my bag..."whoah, time out, my bag is vibrating!"
- enthusiastic puppies galore
- listening to Heather's brother, Ben, babble about Morrowind (SP?). Sounds kinda like RPGMaker ^_^ maybe I should check it out!
- singing "This is Halloween" at the tops of our lungs
- mini juggling act with Ben when trading candy
- amusing Ben and Heather by telling the story of [livejournal.com profile] evenshadowscry's inadvertant impression of a Goron (from Zelda) several years ago
- watching Nightmare Before Christmas
- nearly flooring Ben when Jack saw the door to ChristmasTown and I said "Shiny senses...tingling"
sagesaria: (Birthday!)
Guess what?

No work today, either.

*siiiigh*

But it's Heather's birthday, so I have to be happy LOL

Happy birthday, Heather!

I was Buffy in the episode Helpless. Or more or less in the same situation.

It was the Friday of Otakon, and the first day of school. My plan was to go to the con with other people from school right when they let us out. I was in Algebra with Ms. Liu, and I turned in a book that I'd forgotten to return the previous year, but she said that I already turned in my book, and started trying to figure out whose book I had. I sat out in the hall while waiting. There were several people dressed up for Otakon so they could go after school; one person helping the janitor was dressed as Alucard from Hellsing. I saw Corey coming down the hall and ran up to talk to her. Woke up just as Heather came by and I was about to tell her and Corey that I was going to Otakon.

First week of summer vacation and already my sleep schedule has warped.

Anyway, I'm sorry I got so LJ-backlogged, but here is a list of what has occurred this past week;

Saturday, in which Saria-chan goes to a wonderful party )

Sunday, in which Saria-chan goes to the movies )

Monday, in which Saria-chan spontaneously hangs out with friends )

Tuesday, in which summer vacation starts and Saria-chan has a friend over )

Wednesday, in which Saria-chan goes to a not-so-wonderful party )

Thursday, in which Saria-chan goes to the theatre )

Friday, in which Saria-chan is lazy )

Today, in which stuff happened. )

So now, here we are, finishing a long overdue LJ update. Damien's trying to get us to watch Record of the Loddoss Wars. I might join. I dunno if I feel like trying something new right now :P

Having a party at our house. I went to David's house (on a scooter?) and invited him over. He fell asleep on the couch when we got back. I went downstairs to tell the gang (Damien, Rowan, Orenda, Jordi, I think Corey and Heather) that David was here, but asked not to wake him. (Orenda or Jordi) went upstairs and sat on the other couch and watched him sleep.

Something about a hotel. The same hotel that's been appearing in all my other dreams -_-

I have been absorbed by the video game monster. Damien brought me his PS1 memory card. Oh, sweet, sweet Chrono Trigger, how do I save thee?

Anyway, recap of the party, in a giant coconutshell.
IT'S A MADHOUSE!!! )

Orenda, Damien, Jordi and Rowan are here as of last night! Rowan was much later than the others, so she lucked out on helping clean. But the gophers did a good job. The stairs look very nice :D

Heather is coming in about 2 hours, David in 5. I need to start waking people up at 10.

Wheeee....I'm only on six hours of sleep. Would have been more, but I had to go to the bathroom, and you all should know by now that that's what wakes me up in most of my insomnia rants -_-
sagesaria: (Blah....tired Saria-chan...)
WHY IS THIS THE ONLY PLACE I CAN GET INTO RIGHT NOW?!?! ARGH!

Anyway...

Heather called a little while ago. She was wondering why I wasn't at school. Sho shweet! ^_^ Now I remember why I'm friends with that girl.

We finally fixed the problem with the vacuum, so I did the family room, and as I was cleaning the game room, I determined that the floor was good enough not to vacuum. Tomorrow: THE MOVIE ROOM! Dun dun duuuuuuun!

On another note: Today I have eaten...
- crackers with peanut butter on them
- ramen soup
- a donut
- chips and chilli

and I'm fine!

That means that I'm MUUUUUUUUUUUUUCH better :)
sagesaria: (Whaaa....sad Saria-chan...)
The good:
-actually being able to to work in Food Trends. And by work, I mean I actually got to cut some vegetables!
-walking in the pretty snow
-kitten break picture: http://www.kittenbreak.com/index.php?ID=612

The bad:
-realizing too late that I had to sign up with a partner for the morning announcements. I hardly know anyone in my grade! That's really discouraging. Waaah!
-spending half of lunch crying
-being dizzy all morning
-being clumsy and sleepy all afternoon
-chances of going to Katsucon for my birthday are veeeeeeeery slim. (not blaming anyone for that. Just pointing out that it's a blech thing)

The ugly:
-having to deal with Heather while I was upset. She always says "Sorry, I'm not very good at sympathizing."

Ok, first of all, DON'T SAY THAT!!! That makes me feel worse!

Second of all, I don't expect you to know every single detail of how I feel. I just want someone to listen (and make it clear that they're listening!!!! Heather, when someone's talking to you, the book gets put AWAY!!!) and give me hugs. You're good at the hugging part.

Lastly, at least try?!? Don't sit there and read a book while I'm ranting and then say "Sorry, I'm not good at sympathizing." I'm not very good at socializing! But I still try, right?
sagesaria: (Whee!)
No, I didn't audition for the musical. I was kinda thinking about it at first, but like I said before, I want to start looking for jobs again right after the One Act festival, so there's no way I'd have time for both. But I decided to go watch Corey audition at least, and I ended up seeing lots of cool people audition :D

So...once again, Mrs. McCary couldn't get the rights to the play, but this time it wasn't her fault. They haven't decided on the play yet, so the singing auditions are on hold. So I got to see people's monologues. There were some pretty good ones. I think my favorite was the one where I got to do a little improv;

This one girl's monologue was about how sick she is of every boy she meets staring at her chest. She had Spencer on stage drooling at her, then at the end of the monologue she kneed him in the crotch (acting, of course). Then while she was getting her picture taken for the audition papers, I ran over and helped Spencer up the stairs (yes, still acting). Now, I know what you're thinking; "Was this an excuse to act and be silly or was this an excuse to touch Spencer's arm?"

Good question. *giggles*

My gaaaaawd I want Spencer's audition mug shot! *hypersonic squeee*

And I was very happy for the people who did the lunchtime monologue from You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown. Because without a very kind Charlie Brown wiling to donate his sandwich, I wouldn't have been able to watch the whole audition, let alone Corey's.

Speaking of Corey, we established once again how clueless Heather is; I came into the building, and Corey and Heather were having a discussion. It was obvious from the look on Corey's face that Heather was being stupid again. Heather sees me and asks "Do you notice anything different about Corey's hair?" I blink at Heather and say "Uhh....she got it cut?" in a "duh" voice. Corey jumps up and thanks me graciously. Apparently Corey asked her this and she thought it got longer. Umm...yeah....I think Heather needs a little bit of Corey's Ritalin or something.

Another rehearsal tomorrow, which means being out reaaaaaaallllly late. But at least we're getting costumes prepared! Yay!

Must remember to pack my cell phone.

AAAACK!

Heather, Rowan, and Damien's presents have all disappeared. We're trying to figure out what could have happened to them, and we can replace them fairly easily, but I'm just upset that it happened.

My parents were away and I took Dad's van to some restaurant because Heather was there and I wanted to give her some kind of message. I got the message to her and meant to go home but I ended up hanging out and spending the night at her house. The next day I went to her Middle School (?), and Erin from Volleyball class (IRL) was there, making it very obvious how much she hates me. After school, she started to chase me, yelling at me about what an evil girl I am and I don't deserve to live, making death threats. I planned to pull out my keys while I was running so that I could open the door immediately once I got there, but then I remembered that I didn't have a key to Heather's house and besides, I left my fanny pack in the van. I finally got to the house and started banging on the door screaming for Mr. Neri to open up, but nobody came, and Erin cornered me. I took off my shoe and knocked her out with it. I knocked on the door again, Erin came to, I hit her with my shoe again.

I went to a grocery store with a bunch of people (my friends or my parents) and saw a cashier abusing a little girl. I ran outside and called the police on a cell phone.

There was a courthouse where a bunch of criminals were being held. They were trying to escape.

On a river rapids ride with Mom.

Woke up with Wipe Out stuck in my head.

We were taking Heather to a museum. Before we left, Heather's dad (who looked like Corey's dad) said that they were going to send stalkers after her in a FedEx truck later that day. We saw the stalkers on the way there, and they went the wrong way.

There were other details, but the only other one I remember was going on rocking mini rides with my cousins Presten and Amanda.
sagesaria: (Whee!)
Corey and Heather and my parents and I spent the day at the county fair. It was fun! We spent the first few hours in the agricultural section, and we saw the piggie races (SO CYUTE!) and there were some beautiful pictures in the art exhibit. Reminds me that I really need to make something to submit to the fair sometime.

Then we went to the rides. We went on the ferris wheel first, to see what else was there, then we went on the Bobsled, which basically spins around and is really fast and has heavy music and a cool snow machine. I got some of the snow in my mouth, though. Ptooey. Then Corey and I went against each other in the bumper cars, with Heather shotgun in my car. Then we went on the carousel. Then Heather and Corey went on this really intense spinny ride that went verticle, and Heather started to get sick, so we walked around for a little bit. I did a ducky game where I won a fake red rose. Heather asked who my secret admirer was, and we all agreed it was from Syngo ^_^ Heather started feeling a little better, so we went on another spinny ride that wasn't as intense. That was fun, and Corey said we looked really funny with Heather squashing into me and my head leaning over the side of the car. Heather was still a little woozy after that, so we stopped to try to meet up with Mom and Dad. We walked around some more after meeting up with them, I won a stuffed clownfish on a stick (which I wrapped around my rose for convenience), Corey and I went on the Bobsled again, then we started getting tired, so I played a few more games and won a little stuffed whale and a stuffed ray. We met up with my folks, won a prize for Mom, got some funnel cake, then started heading home.

So now here I sit, feet no longer hurting, but legs starting to ache, with the rose in my lap, thinking that this is the most fun I've had at the fair ever. Probably 'cause I'd never gone with friends before.

It's a shame Damien couldn't come with us :(

There was someone in my room who needed my help with something, and he got my attention by mentioning that he can transform into other people, and turned into Vin Diesel. I agreed to help him, but then either the dream changed or the something else I don't remember, and I was at a convention with Rowan and Corey and Heather. We kept getting separated because going up the escalators was making me nervous and dizzy. At some point we were in the bathroom, and a group of Sailor Moon cosplayers was harassing me because I got the name of one of their costumes wrong.

I usually don't get nervous on escalators, though...hmmmm
sagesaria: (That's....that's so sweet of you!)
While Heather can be a bit of a pain, she's great at gift-giving.

She came by a few minutes ago to give me something she bought for me in Greece. It's a pretty wooden music box in the shape of a lute ^_^

Waaaiii! I luv it! Thank you, Heather! *hugs*

This was a dream I had on.....I think Thursday night.

I was at Puttin' on the Hits (School talent contest), but instead of waiting in the wings for them to call contestants up, we had to sit in the house. When my number came up, I couldn't carry my guitar because the isles were too narrow, so I ended up singing my songs while the background was playing on a tape, kinda Karaoke-ish. I sounded terrible too, but then I still got applause.

Apparently Maugie was in the contest as well. He came on and had tons of equipment, and was trying to get it all set up and it wasn't working. I didn't get to hear him perform because then I woke up.

It was about three in the morning when I woke up, so I went back to sleep. It was lunch time at school, and Corey was sitting with me. Heather wasn't there (probably at a chess club meeting). I was trying to tell Corey the story of Br'er Rabbit and the Tar Baby, but I was telling it wrong. Instead of saying they were going to steak him, hang him or skin him, I said they were going to drown him, beat him to death, and then I didn't get to the last thing because then the alarm clock woke me up. Bits of the animated movie were playing when I was telling the story.
sagesaria: (Default)
We had a party this weekend. It's still running right now,but a lot of people have already left. Damien, Orenda and Corey, namely. Several others too. I had way too much fun! Why'd they have to leave already?

Heather's still here, but she's playing a game with Marc.
sagesaria: (Arrrrr!)
I went to see Pirates of the Caribbean last night. It was really cool.

But all through it, I was thinking about my friend Heather. She wanted to see it because it has Orlando Bloom in it, and Orlando Bloom is her Leonardo DiCaprio. That's not a reason to see a movie. When I went to see it, half of me didn't care that Orlando Bloom was in it, that half of me wanted to see it because it looked really good! The part of me that did want to see Orlando wasn't because he was the blond-haired boy-toy of Lord of the Rings, it was because I wanted to see how well he could act! I mean, yeah, we saw that in LoTR too, but not as much as in Pirates of the Caribbean.

A lot of people are probably looking at me and saying "Look who's talking, Ms. Leonardo!" But there's a reason I went to every Leonardo DiCaprio movie my parents could afford; I saw Leo in Titanic and thought he was really good!

I guess what I'm saying is, "Heather, don't go just for the guy you knew from LoTR, 'cause it's not always him."
Something tells me I hardly made any sense. But that's okay, I'm used to it ^_^
