Real life update what!
Jul. 4th, 2007 11:31 pmFirst time in forever, huh?
ANyway yeah...so I'm getting on the ball a lot faster than last year about school. I've already picked out an ideal schedule for fall, though I still need to register.
I'm re-taking German, and I'm also gonna take Fundamentals of Acting, and Psychology. All on a MW schedule, and the theatre class is also on Friday. I was thinking of taking at least one class on a TR schedule, but I changed my mind because I want to ease myself back into the big guns. Then if I do well I'll take more classes for the spring.
I'll miss the free time, but I doubt I'll have ANY if I took TR classes. There is quite a bit of time between the classes I've picked (two hours between Theatre and German, then an hour between that and Psychology, which doesn't even start until October) so I can get homework and studying done while I'm on campus, so I won't have to do so much at home and can have some time.
One little thing I noticed that made me giddy is that with classes on the same day, I can fit all the stuff for it in one binder :D
Speaking of...my shopping list for the semester:
-a few more spiralbound notebooks
-more folders
-colored index cards and rubber bands to keep them together
-yellow toner for my printer
-new flash drive
You know...before school started up when I was in high school, I was always really "ugh, dun wanna T_T". Getting ready for the next college semester, I only slightly feel like that. The work is not always worth looking forward to, but I really ilke going to college. What is it about that place? :D

You'll need to study about an hour each day for each class.
It'll be good to have the resources of the campus for some of that time, but seriously, don't count your time on campus as being your prime study time. That's just gravy. If you want to keep your GPA at a decent place you'll NEED to study about an hour a day for each course.

Date: 2007-07-05 04:25 am (UTC)6 hours of on campus studying per week will make a dent in your study time, but it is amazing how much time your classes can demand of you. I know you can rise to that challenge.
