sagesariaDavi invited me at the last minute to go see Seusical at the high school tonight. It was fun. QO Theatre is just as I remember it; lots of fun, familiar faces, cool costumes, good actors, late starts and craptastic sound quality. At least the pit was in tune for the whole performance this time XD.
Seriously the sound was worse than usual...I could only hear half of the singing completely clearly; usually they were either drowned out by the pit, or singing in a way where I couldn't really make out the words. And the Wikerson Brothers had their own microphones, but they were majorly garbled. David said that they sounded like the giant black birds from the Twilight Realm of Twilight Princess (which we fondly refer to as Trumpet Birds). The sad thing is...he was right. For that, I'm gonna have to kill him. And by kill him, I mean tickle him until he's red in the face.
It was wonderful to see Davi again, though. We spent the whole walk talking. I've missed that boy ♥ And the play was fun. I'll have to see a non-high school performance sometime, or at least get the soundtrack.
