I was in some combination of my neighborhood and my old appartment complex. My childhood friend Alex was there, and we had a good time talking again (I was my current age, he was still 7). He and a bunch of his friends started a club, but they didn't want me to join because they hated me (Alex always was the minority in his group of friends; he always ended up doing things without me because his friends said so). I went somewhere in my dad's truck, and spent the entire trip on the phone with
evenshadowscry. I think I had a cold or something, because my voice was cracked a little by the time we got home. I hung up the phone, and as I got out of the car, I saw a girl peeking into Alex's clubhouse. I said something along the lines of "I wouldn't do that." Suddenly, one of the other boys came out, and the girl accused me of spying on them. I immedietely pointed out that she was lying, but of course none of them believed me. They shunned me and forbid Alex of ever seeing me again. They went off somewhere else as I started crying, stomping the ground, and screaming "I HATE YOU" until I was hoarse, then ran off. I think I caught a glimpse of
nandarou_life walking by, and I half expected him to follow me and ask what was wrong, but he didn't; I guess he thought it best to leave me alone. I cried for a long time, then I decided I had to talk to Alex alone. I went to his appartment and his mother let me in (IRL, I don't remember if I ever actually MET his mother). Alex was there, but he didn't seem to notice me. (at this point I STILL don't know if Alex actually believed me) After sitting there for a long time as Alex started getting ready for bed (it was about 2:30 AM in the dream), I decided what I was going to say; "It was nice seeing you again, I'm sorry about what happened today, I'm sorry that your friends hate me, and I'm sorry that they can't listen to both sides of the story. I hope you enjoy yourself in your club." I woke up before I could say any of that.
Current music is by no means just coincidence, methinks.
