(no subject)

Another reason I'm in love with this experience;

The campus is always active!

Back in high school, if you were out in the halls during class, things would be dead. You'd see nobody there except a few teachers or skippers. But here, even when there's nobody outside, you go into the campus center, there's got the energy level of a mall in there! Something's always happening here! Except of course at night when things seriously slow down and the bus stops get crowded.

One of the drawbacks of this campus, though, is that 20 OZ sodas are more expensive than in high school, but they make up for that by having a few soda machines that have small cans at half the price of the bottle.

Anyway, Katrina wasn't around for as long as I thought she was going to be (I thought it was gonna be a repeat of Monday; hang out until I had to get to class), so I FINISHED MY GERMAN HOMEWORK!!! Whoo!

Now I need to finish my English homework and eventually work on my Astronomy project (not due until Monday, thankfully).

1 hour 16 minutes until class, so I should get to work. Wiedersehen!

Brainstorm

A short list of various plotbunnies, one of them likely to grow into a plotrabbit soon.

Ideas for beginnings:
A girl who looks like she's been crying for a while staggering into a small shop asking for bandaids.
A college girl stranded at a subway station.

Scattered ideas:
A geeky couple waltzing to the Final Fantasy 8 ballroom theme.
Half asleep on a bus.
Scripts for Meatloaf music videos: Bat Out of Hell, Paradise by the Dashboard Light, I Would Do Anything For Love, Objects in the Year-View Mirror
A puzzle game in a community college campus, using my college campus as a model

Potential plotrabbit:
A fantasy series about a series of characters, animals, weapons, etc. all named after and/or possessing qualities of the constelations and their mythology; Gemini can create a duplicate of herself, Orion is the leader and has a strained relationship with Scorpius, etc. Currently doing research on the constelations to help this idea along. It might get done as designs for a game; I'm eventually going to take some game/design classes. Hopefully within a few semesters.

Sometime soon I'm also going to work on a novelization of the Legend of Zelda LARP I had at a party a few weeks ago.
