May. 15th, 2005 08:01 pmI just came back from a party that was being held at Ms. Hardinge's house for Creative Writing people. It is officially the highlight of my week.
Not everybody was there, which was sad, but a lot of the class was there, and when I came in the room, I thought they were going to smother me with glomps. I've missed you guys too...T_T There were some newbies there too, so that was cool :)
Anyway, we spent most of the time on the porch talking and drinking soda and playing with Abby, who is the sweetest dog I have ever met. Mostly I talked to Robert, but I also shared some stories with the whole group. They were very amused at the story of the guy who tried to rob
rinichan's house but failed miserably because the house was a mess. (sorry, imoutou...I stole your mom's story). Then I discovered that they had tree swings, so I decided to try one. Oh my Gooooddddd...I hadn't been on a swing in years...it felt so nice T_T Then Robert and I played some badminton (SP?). Apparently I'm not too bad at it LOL
We ate some really yummy food, then Katie asked me to take out my guitar and play some songs. And so I did :) Wowed everyone on the porch :) I had a nice conversation with one of the moms over dessert, talking about how long I've been playing and such. Then I went outside to watch some people play badminton, then got to play with Robert again. This time we kept track of score. I won :)
Then people left :( so I gave Ms. Hardinge a story to read to the class tomorrow and left as well.
It felt really good to see everybody again. Even though Dominique and Corey weren't there...I wanted to talk to them :( but it was fun. I'm gonna miss them when they graduate... :(
