I was at school. I was on my way to sixth period. But instead I went to seventh. And it was in a different room; the room I had Ms. Bernstein in last semester. I don't even remember what we did. All I remember is Ms. Wassman and lots of papers. Then after class I went across to Ms. Wassman's room for seventh, but the vice principal was there and he said Ms. Wassman had fallen ill and they couldn't get a substitute, so we could all hang around in the halls, as long as we were quiet and we got a pass for it from the lobby. So I did. Arden was in charge of the booth, so I said hi and got my pass. I don't remember what I did after that. I think I got a snack from the vending machine and sat outside.
