Writer's Block: Places to Lay Your Head

[Error: unknown template qotd]

- My grandparents' house in Woodbridge, VA
- A trailer in Woodbridge, VA
- A third-floor apartment in Beltsville, MD that we called the Clue House
- A first-floor apartment in Gaithersburg, MD that we called the Goldfish Bowl
- Present day house in Gaithersburg, MD we call the Nookery

No question about it, I love the Nookery. It's hard to decide whether the Clue House or GFB were least favorite...they were both pretty horrible. Except for the pools. I miss having a pool to go to. There's the bubble-pool next to the Nookery, but it's membership fee is ridiculous. And at least we had the Goldfish Bowl to ourselves...if I could remember the Cluehouse better I'd probably share some roommate snafus with [livejournal.com profile] housematehorror

At the time you moved in you loved the GFB. You wrote to that effect in chalk on the sidewalk.

I remember that. But I also remember deliberately waking up early to go outside to play because everybody who bullied me on a daily basis was at school.

You left out an apartment in Reston you probably don't remember, between grandma's and the trailer. Hey, I haven't lived anywhere you haven't lived.

wait...you hated Clue House more than the trailer? Ugh. I agree that the nookery rocks (though I'd like it more if it were ever clean).
