I don't usually have a hero to announce like Mom does, but...

Thank you Mom for kicking my butt to make me call Orenda. She will be able to come as long as she does her homework, which she says she will do. Good girl ;)

I know it doesn't really seem like that big a deal to call someone and ask them a simple question, but...

I seem to have picked up Mom's phobia of phones. I may not seem it, since I'm so talkative, and once I get things going I'm fine, but the worst part for me is actually picking up the phone and dialing, then asking for the person I must speak with. It seriously sucks.

But I did it! Yay! We've officially decided a party date now; April 16th! Can't wait!

I think you actually may be phobic, where I just don't like it. Phobias SUCK SUCK SUCK. This concludes our news program.

I'm kinda phone-a-phobic, too. I hate calling someone on the phone, especially when there is email available. I only order pizza from Pizza Hut or Papa John's because I can order online from them. I have no idea how I did phone stuff for 10 years at FOI and then did technical support where I am now (at Broadsoft) for a year (I had to quit and got re-hired later on into another department to get away from it). Even now I jump in a panic when I hear a pager go off... I spent a year living in constant dread of a pager going off in the middle of the night or in a restaurant... and it did happen quite often.

Ok, maybe it's not a *true* phobia, just a severe disliking...
