Jade's activity
The activity check has been good for me, and it hasn't even happened yet XD It's made me go "OH CRAP O_O" and comment a lot. I try to comment with SOMEBODY every day now, especially my less popular characters.
To this day though, I think my least active characters are Jade and Dragon.
Dragon I understand why, because I have a rule for myself that his posts HAVE to be poems. I need to have him comment more though.
ANyway, as for Jade, I have a few thoughts on her. Stuff I wanna do with her. She's been making friends with Michel, but she needs others too XD like one of these days I should stop being shy and ask Eme about scening with her roommate.
I keep wanting to bring out Secundo, her AI assistant. He really only gets chances too, though, to hack entries or if somebody brings up techy stuff. I dunno, should I do more with him?
Also, some spoilerific stuff and thoughts on Jade...
Ok, the premise of the game is that Hillys, the planet where Jade lives, is at war with nasty creatures called DomZ, which intend to harvest humans and feed them to their master. All through the game, it's discovered that the section of army supposedly protecting the population is actually HELPING the DomZ.
Why are the DomZ doing this? Because their master centuries ago was stripped of its power; a force called Shauni. Shauni is a sideless power that is capable of what its weilder wishes; IT is what I believe the title is referring to as Beyond Good and Evil. ANyway, when the DomZ priest lost this power, it traveled to other bodies for centuries, leading the DomZ on a wild goose chase, and finally in the present, (present for Hillys at least) it was born in Jade.
Evidence of this is throughout the whole game. Her eyes are shocking green, the monsters call her "Shauni" when they encounter her (a name she later takes on as a pen name for an underground newsletter), she gets visions of the DomZ priest calling her and taunting her, then at the end of the game she brings those who were killed by the DomZ back to life.
So I told you that story to tell you this story: I'm wondering if I should bring Shauni into the picture. My concerns with that are that it could turn spoilery, and that I don't know how it could work. I play Jade preseries; about a day before the first DomZ attack in her home, the first time she's called Shauni. I'm sure Shauni will start to wake up in this time but I don't know how it would affect anything.
...I dunno, I'm tired and rambling. Ideas?
