Prompt #42: Giddy

Notes: Inspired by a scene from the VGA remake of King's Quest II. Kinda based on the idea of the merfolk being sort of temptresses, kinda based on what would probably be going through the head of a lonely man being kissed by a naked brunette. XD
Graham wondered for only a moment how he was still standing upright as his knees shook under his own weight, before his head began to swim as if he were already underwater. The mermaid pressed her wet, naked body flush against him, her kiss deep and intrusive. Then gradually his startled, rigid posture eased, his eyes closed, and he began to reciprocate.
Her skin was so soft and her warmth contrasted the cold water that soaked through his tunic as she embraced him, the scent of the salty water complimenting the natural aroma of a woman. Her ash hair draping over her shoulders was heavy and matted from the sea, yet fine and smooth against his body. Her deceptively strong arms about his neck held him close to her, passionate and demanding.
He couldn't get enough of it. In that brief, intense moment, he forgot about his quest, about Valanice. This was what he had been missing. This was what he wanted. For all he cared she could have dragged him underwater now and drowned him, and he would die happy, no longer consumed by the loneliness that had brought him to this land.
But just as he began to reach out to return her touch, it was over. The mermaid pulled away, sinking into the water and out of sight. Graham blinked his eyes open, wondering where she went and why she stopped. But just as his head cleared and he began to remember why he was here something seized his leg, pulling him harshly under the sea.
