Followup to my playlist question about iPods:

[livejournal.com profile] sagekaley, you said that if files are moved, they won't go into playlists. What if you put them in a playlist, then they get moved? Would the results be the same?

Also, what happens if the files are removed from your computer after uploading?

I'm asking because I'm having trouble uploading my Chrono Trigger soundtrack; the discs overwrite each other upon being put in the computer.

If you put them on the playlist, then move them, they'll still be there and ready to listen to on the playlist ^^ Usually, I just put them on the playlist, then sort them to whatever folders I want.

If you remove the files from your computer, it's the same as if you had just put them in a different folder. They'll still play on the iPod and be there to listen to (on the iPod)

Hmm, the CT soundtrack problem is odd but it should be alright to upload, I'd think.

I hope so...

I'm not sure what the problem is with putting them on my computer, so I don't know if the same thing would happen with an iPod :-/

Are any foldernames or filenames the same between the two? Are they both called, for example, "Chrono Trigger Soundtrack"?

they might be...
